Ted Lawson's one-night stand with an unconscious Sara Joy at a round of drinks leads to unintended consequences. After waking up alone, Sara hastily departs without properly cutting ties. She accidentally leaves her best friend Mandy Fox's resume in the room. Mandy seizes this opportunity and assumes Sara's identity, moving into Pine View where she lives under Ted's roof.
